Faux Wood, 2" Slat
The LaGrange default for Hillside subdivision bedrooms, kitchens, and baths. Cordless, child-safe, will not warp.

Now serving Hillside, Country Club, Downtown LaGrange, LaGrange College
Hand-measured hardwood and faux wood blinds for the Hillside subdivisions, the Country Club historic streets, and the Downtown LaGrange square.
A 29-year Troup County installer
LaGrange splits into three markets that need different blinds. The Downtown LaGrange square and the historic blocks around the Country Club and along Broad Street carry 1880s to 1920s Greek Revival and Queen Anne homes with original wide trim and stained casing. The Hillside subdivisions on the west side of town are 1980s and 1990s brick ranches and the 2000s pockets out toward West Point. The LaGrange College corridor carries owner-occupied bungalows and a smaller rental segment. We have measured into all of those LaGrange markets since 1996, on a weekly LaGrange route.
What is consistent is the West Georgia climate. Summer dewpoints sit in the low 70s, the pollen season is brutal late March through May, and the west-facing rooms toward West Point Lake bake from 3pm. Real basswood hardwood blinds with custom stain are the right answer for the historic dining rooms; faux wood blinds from Norman and Graber are the right call for kitchens, baths, sunrooms, and the Hillside subdivision bedrooms. Faux wood will not warp, yellow, or peel under West Georgia humidity, and the modern faux wood slat reads as wood from across the room.
We are a one-hour drive from LaGrange and we run a weekly LaGrange route. Book the free in-home measure.
The LaGrange defaults

The LaGrange default for Hillside subdivision bedrooms, kitchens, and baths. Cordless, child-safe, will not warp.

For the Country Club historic streets and the Downtown LaGrange square. Custom stain or paint to match original trim.

For Hillside two-story bedrooms with stair-side transoms. Wall switch, RF remote, or smart-home app.
What LaGrange actually demands
The 1880s to 1920s homes around the Downtown LaGrange square and the Country Club historic streets carry original wide trim and stained casing. We custom-match stain and bring over 40 samples to the consult to hold against your woodwork in daylight.
Summer dewpoints sit in the low 70s. Norman and Graber faux wood will not warp, yellow, or peel under those conditions. The slat holds tolerance for the life of the home.
We have not sold corded lift for child-occupied rooms in over a decade. Cordless is standard for any bedroom or playroom in LaGrange.
The Hillside two-story floor plans often carry stair-side transoms or 12-foot great-room windows. Somfy and Lutron motors add $235 to $260 or more per blind and 6 to 7 years on the warranty.
Our weekly LaGrange route also covers West Point, Hogansville, and the Troup County rural pockets. Same lead time, same warranty terms, same install crew.
Lifetime warranty on the mechanism does not mean much if the company is in another state. Our LaGrange warranty service is a phone call to 770-949-9020 and a slot on the next weekly route.
