Historic Greenville Street, Newnan.
A Historic Greenville Street home built in 1908, with original double-hung windows that have drifted slightly out of square over the century. The homeowners wanted shutters that respected the home's historic register status, which meant ivory rather than bright white and a louver size that matched the building era. We custom-templated every opening, specified basswood with 3.5 inch louvers, and matched the existing trim's ivory.

Custom-templated basswood panels
Every opening templated on site to its actual dimensions, accounting for the 1908 framing's accumulated drift.
3.5 inch louvers
Period-appropriate; 4.5 inch would read as overscaled on a 1908 dining room window.
Ivory finish
Color-matched to the existing trim with a sample swatch; the homeowner's historic register filing required the existing tone be preserved.
