About this project
The homeowners had inherited a classic Buckhead Atlanta dining room with three arched windows -- and three sets of dated heavy fabric drapes that fought the chandelier and made the space dim. We measured the arches, fabricated 3.5 inch louver poly shutters in white, and used sunburst-pattern tops to follow the curve of each arch. The transformation gives the space refined natural light all day, and the louvers tilt for sun control on hot Atlanta afternoons.
