Lifetime on Woodlore and Woodlux
Norman Woodlore basswood and Woodlux composite shutter frames, panels, and louver hardware carry a lifetime limited warranty against material defects, warping, and finish failure. Lifetime means the lifetime of the original purchaser at the original install address. Non-prorated for the first 25 years.
Stain and paint warranties
Stained finishes carry a 25-year fade warranty. Painted finishes carry a lifetime warranty against peeling and a 25-year warranty against yellowing. The Norman custom-stain process is materially deeper than the Hunter Douglas equivalent; this is the warranty term we use most often when the homeowner has a specific stain reference.
SmartDraw and SmartTilt motorization
SmartDraw motors carry a 7-year warranty. SmartTilt motors carry a 5-year warranty. SmartHub bridges and remotes carry a 3-year warranty. Batteries are user-replaceable and Norman sells replacements directly. Salt-air does not void the motor warranty.
Our workmanship warranty
On top of the Norman product warranty, we add our own lifetime workmanship guarantee on every install. That covers the bracket pull-out, the louver-bar adjustment, the hinge re-mortise, and any post-install service for the life of the original purchaser at the original install address.
